Just as children start doodling as soon as they have a white surface and crayons, we want adults to experience the joy of drawing and the joy of having it appreciated by many people.
And if people with these things roamed around the city, wouldn't it be fun to see the city become like a gallery?
This unlikely and simple inspiration led us to create ``TOTE AS CANVAS'' from the tote bag brand ROOTOTE, and we have been hosting the Art & Design Awards since 2003.
In 2004, we received the Good Design Award at the Good Design Award established by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
