Daikanyama T-Site will be holding a group exhibition focusing on contemporary photography, "icon CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY," in collaboration with CCC Art Lab. In addition, as the third collaboration project with tote bag specialty store ROOTOTE, we will exhibit and sell art photo tote bags featuring the works of 10 photographers participating in the exhibition. In Europe, the US and Asia, mega galleries support dozens of art photographers, but in Japan, photography is not highly valued and photographers have a low status. Artists have a responsibility to create works that have artistic value and set appropriate prices. It is important for audiences to also consider owning works and support the art photography market. Our goal is for artists and audiences to work together to boost Japan's art photography market to the world.
