A collaboration between GIRUVI and ROOTOTE, who create works that fuse plants, which are the center of lifestyle, with roots in street culture such as graffiti and skateboarding.

GIRUVI

With roots in street culture such as graffiti and skateboarding that he himself has experienced and been influenced by, he creates works that fuse plants that are the center of his lifestyle. It is mainly produced by silkscreen, and is consistently performed from plate making to printing. One of my favorite plants is the Bromeliaceae family.

GIRUVI who is a succulent plant lover. He creates art works with the plants he grows and the motifs of those plants. Released a tote bag POT CARRY TOTE "PLANTA" to carry the plant. It is a one-of-a-kind work that GIRUVI himself carefully printed with silkscreen, like growing plants.

Ever since he can remember, he has been fascinated by movies, and was shocked by the graffiti and skateboards drawn in the streets of movies set in the United States in the 1980s. After street culture, I was fascinated by the world of plants, and based on the roots of the street culture I have experienced so far, I am creating works that fuse plants, which are the center of lifestyle.
