Kjell Bolin

Kjell Bolin
Born in 1935. Raised in Bodum Parish in Augermanland, studied under Anders Beckmann after graduating from art school. Widely active as a textile designer, dress designer, and artist. From organic designs with motifs of trees and forests to abstract patterns, his works are characterized by delicate touches using steel pens and flat brushes.
Winner of Sigwald Bernadotte's Mesterkatten Prize twice in the 1970s. Died in 2006.
