Kenji Hirasawa / Contemporary Artist

Born in Tokyo in 1982, he is a photographer and contemporary artist based in Tokyo and London. Graduated from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University, and completed a master's degree in photography from the Royal College of Art. After learning remote sensing using artificial satellites, he began creating works with the theme of ``human beings'' and ``life'' using one of the devices, a thermographic camera. He is expanding the range of his creative activities by actively incorporating installations, videos, new mediums and technologies. Participated in numerous solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and projects both domestically and internationally.
