東京都美術館開館100周年記念 アンドリュー・ワイエス展

東京都美術館開館100周年記念 アンドリュー・ワイエス展 20世紀アメリカ具象絵画を代表する画家アンドリュー・ワイエス（1917-2009）。第二次世界大戦後に脚光を浴びたアメリカ抽象表現主義、ネオ・ダダ、ポップアートといった動向から距離を置き、ひたすら自分の身近な人々と風景を描き続けました。その作品は眼前にある情景の単なる再現描写にとどまるものではなく、作家自身の精神世界が反映されたものとなっています。彼の作品には、窓やドアなど、ある種の境界を示すモティーフが数多く描かれます。境界は、西洋絵画史のなかで古くから取り上げられてきたテーマですが、ワイエスにとってはより私的な世界との繋がり、あるいは境目として機能しています。本展は、その境界の表現に着目して、ワイエスが描いた世界を見ていこうとするものです。 【東京会場】東京都美術館開館100周年記念アンドリュー・ワイエス展会期：2026年4月28日（火）～7月5日（日）会場：東京都美術館 【愛知会場】アンドリュー・ワイエス展会期：2026年7月18日（土）～9月23日（水・祝）会場：豊田市美術館 【大阪会場】アンドリュー・ワイエス展会期：2026年10月3日（土）～12月6日（日）会場：あべのハルカス美術館
