ROOTOTE, a brand specializing in tote bags, will produce and sell art tote bags for artists exhibiting at "Independent Tokyo 2026" as an incubation project to fully support the careers of emerging artists.
The works of 33 artists will be made into special collaboration tote bags, using ROOTOTE's classic vertical model "TALL" as a canvas. This initiative aims to connect artists and society by bringing art into daily life as "art that can be carried," rather than just "displayed."
