IndependentTokyo2026 / Takuya Miyamoto: Tire Marks / 008601

In 2023, I retired from my 11-year career as a childcare worker to make an unusual transition to becoming a contemporary artist. I want to be someone who can inspire "dreams," "hope," "determination," "decisions," and "challenges" in the children I love and the people I meet.
I will continue to create the work that is "miyamoto takuya," never forgetting my gratitude toward those who gave me the dream of being an artist and those who support me.
I will not let a dream end as just a dream.
As long as you don't give up, dreams will surely come true.
