Title: Matchbox (4 colors)
Artist: Kaori Fukushima
Work description: A boy is bored and doesn't feel like doing anything, so he takes out an old matchbox from his desk drawer. The moment he opens it to smoke a cigarette, a little fairy appears from inside the box. The fairy looks angry at being suddenly woken up from his peaceful sleep. "Don't wake me up without my permission!" he says, as he quickly lights the match. At that moment, the boy is captivated by the beauty and warmth of the flame that blazes up.
The fairy forgets her anger and teaches the boy the "secret of fire," and the boy is freed from boredom. However, the fairy disappears again somewhere along with the burnt match...
