Conoca
Born in Tokyo in 2011.
A drawing she made in kindergarten was selected for an honorable mention at the "World Children's Picture Exhibition." At the age of 9, she established her unique technique, "Tsubutsubu Art," and used it to paint many endangered species. At the age of 10, she held her first solo exhibition in Azabu-Juban, where her commission bookings were filled for three years in advance, and she began to be featured in various media. In 2024, she received a Special Award at the "Showa-kai Exhibition," a gateway for young artists. She achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the youngest recipient ever, and the first elementary school student to win the award. This led to her becoming an official artist of the prestigious Nichido Gallery, one of Japan's leading art galleries. Now a junior high school student, she is actively engaged in her artistic career, holding solo exhibitions in museums and exhibiting at galleries in Paris, establishing herself as a leading artist of the next generation.
Diamond Kids Project
"Every child is a rough diamond."
The Diamond Kids Project aims to polish and make the children who will shape the future shine brightly, like diamonds. The Diamond Kids Project focuses on each child's "strengths" and supports them in making these "strengths" shine even brighter by jointly exploring opportunities for activities such as media exposure, exhibitions, workshops, and collaborations with companies. Conoca is a member of the Diamond Kids Project.
