The basic vertical tote "Tall" was created as ROOTOTE, with fun and functionality that only the design office nendo can provide.


If you put your hand inside the tote bag, the "Lou Pocket" becomes a finger puppet.
Of course, when you use it on a daily basis, you can simply tuck the pocket inside and use it conveniently as an inner pocket, or "loop pocket."

Born in Canada in 1977. Graduated from the Graduate School of Architecture at Waseda University in 2002, and founded the design office nendo in the same year. He was selected as one of Newsweek magazine's "100 Japanese People Respected by the World" and has received numerous international design awards, including EDIDA's "Designer of the Year" in 2012. His representative works are housed in art museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York (USA). He was responsible for the design of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic cauldron and the new TGV carriages for the French high-speed railway. He is currently serving as the general producer of the Japanese Government Pavilion for the Osaka-Kansai Expo, scheduled to be held in 2025.
